In my defense, I used the plate method for over 15 years and NEVER broke one! I noticed that your microwave has a turntable, why use a plate and a turntable?????
Ahh...well clearly Kelsey didn't know the "if you have a turntable, don't use a plate" rule.
On the plate vs. turntable debate, perhaps you should instead go with a more general all-encompassing rule:
Don't let Kelsey do anything.
